1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to MK Cool Systems ("we," "us," "our"), an AC and refrigeration service company based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. By contacting us, booking a service, using our website, or engaging with us via WhatsApp or phone, you ("customer," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services. These Terms apply to all services listed on our website and offered through WhatsApp, phone calls, or any other mode of communication.

2. Services Offered

MK Cool Systems provides the following services:

• AC Installation & Dismantling (Split, Window, Cassette units)
• General AC Service – Wet & Dry Cleaning
• Deep Cleaning / High-Pressure Jet Wash
• Gas Refilling & Gas Leak Detection and Repair (R22, R32, R410A)
• Water Leakage Diagnosis and Repair
• Compressor Diagnosis & Replacement
• PCB / Motherboard Troubleshooting and Repair
• Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)
• Refrigerator Repair & Service (All Brands)

We reserve the right to modify, expand, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

3. Service Booking & Appointments

Appointments are confirmed subject to technician availability in your area. We will communicate the estimated arrival time upon booking confirmation.

We operate Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Sunday services are available on a best-effort basis — please confirm availability before booking.

We service Chennai city and surrounding areas including Porur, Kattupakkam, Iyyappanthangal, Mangadu, Kundrathur, and nearby localities. Service availability in outlying areas may vary.

4. Pricing & Payment

All service charges are communicated to the customer before the work begins. We follow a transparent pricing policy — no hidden charges will be applied without your knowledge and consent.

Pricing may include:

• Service charge: Fixed fee for the technician visit and service performed
• Spare parts cost: Charged separately based on actual parts used (if any)
• Gas refilling charge: Charged per kg/unit of refrigerant used
• AMC package fee: As per the agreed annual contract terms

Promotional offers (e.g., ₹1199/- AC Service) apply to standard services only and do not include spare parts, gas refilling, or other additional work. Call us to confirm offer applicability before booking.

Payment is accepted in cash. Digital payment options (UPI/bank transfer) may be available on request. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.

5. Warranty & Service Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. Our warranty policy is as follows:

• Labour Warranty: If the same fault or issue recurs within the warranty period due to our workmanship, we will revisit and fix it at no additional labour charge.
• Parts Warranty: Genuine spare parts supplied by us carry a manufacturer warranty where applicable. We will help you process the warranty claim if required.
• Gas Warranty: Gas refilling is warranted against leaks identified at the time of service. New leaks that develop after the service are not covered.

The warranty is void if:

• The appliance is tampered with or serviced by another party after our visit
• The issue arises from misuse, electrical fluctuations, or external damage
• The warranty period has expired (duration communicated at time of service)

Warranty terms apply only to the specific issue addressed during the service visit and not to the entire appliance.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure smooth and safe service delivery, customers are required to:

• Ensure the service area (e.g., AC unit, room, or work area) is accessible and safe for the technician
• Provide accurate information about the appliance issue when booking
• Ensure stable power supply is available for testing after service
• Be present (or have a responsible adult present) during the service visit
• Inform us in advance if the service location has special access requirements
• Keep children and pets away from the work area during service

MK Cool Systems is not liable for delays or incomplete service caused by failure to meet the above requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

MK Cool Systems' liability is limited to the cost of the service performed. We are not liable for:

• Pre-existing damage or conditions in the appliance not disclosed at the time of booking
• Damage arising from the customer's failure to follow post-service instructions
• Power fluctuations, voltage surges, or any electrical faults from the customer's premises
• Loss of food, data, business, or other indirect losses arising from appliance downtime
• Delays caused by unavailability of spare parts outside our control
• Damage to walls, pipes, or property discovered during installation where pre-existing issues exist

In all cases, our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question.

8. Cancellation & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment by informing us at least 2 hours before the scheduled visit via call or WhatsApp.

If our technician arrives at the location and the service cannot proceed due to the customer's unavailability or refusal without prior notice, a visit charge may be applicable to cover travel costs.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments in the event of technician unavailability, emergency situations, or circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you promptly in such cases.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design — is the property of MK Cool Systems and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

We encourage customers to first contact us directly to resolve any grievance amicably before pursuing legal remedies. We are committed to fair and transparent resolution of all complaints.

11. Changes to These Terms

MK Cool Systems reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
